What we collect
Stealthy does not log your browsing activity, IP addresses, DNS queries, or connection timestamps. We operate a strict no-logging policy across our VPN servers and proxy infrastructure. Our web proxy keeps short-lived technical logs for abuse prevention and capacity planning; these never contain your IP address, browser identity, or the pages you visit, and are deleted automatically within days.
Account information
If you sign up for a PRO subscription, we collect your email address and payment information (processed by Stripe or PayPal — we never see your full card number). This is used solely to manage your subscription. You can view subscription status and change or reset your password at www.stealthy.co/account.
Analytics
Our website may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand general traffic patterns. No personally identifiable information is collected or shared with third parties.
Browser extensions
The Stealthy browser extension stores your settings locally using your browser’s storage API. No data is transmitted to our servers except the proxy configuration requests necessary to establish your connection (for example, requesting a free or PRO proxy endpoint).
PRO VPN (official OpenVPN clients)
PRO VPN is delivered through official OpenVPN clients (OpenVPN Connect, OpenVPN for Android, OpenVPN GUI, Tunnelblick, or the OpenVPN CLI) — not a proprietary Stealthy mobile/desktop app. Profiles and Access-Server-style import are served from our API over HTTPS. Your PRO username and password are checked when you connect; we do not store VPN session content (sites you visit) on our side. Credentials may be stored by the OpenVPN app you choose, under that app’s security model (platform keychain / OS secure storage as implemented by that vendor).
Data sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except as required by law.
